Forest Park High School graduate Ali Krieger was one of 20 players named to the U.S. squad that will compete at the 2016 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Championship Feb. 10-21 in Frisco and Houston, Texas.
The U.S. begins tournament play Feb. 10 against Costa Rica.
After opening Group A play against the Ticas, the USA continues first round action against Mexico Feb. 13, and finishes group play against Puerto Rico on Monday, Feb. 15.
This will be Krieger's second shot at playing in the Olympics.
On Jan. 20, 2012, Krieger tore the ACL and MCL in her right knee during the first half of the U.S.'s opening CONCACAF Olympic qualifier against the Dominican Republic. The injury forced her to miss the Summer Olympics in London, where the U.S. women won the gold medal.
